Hawaii days 1-4

We just got back from an awesome vay-cay in Hawaii with Jord's family! This time around we decided Tate was old enough to come...but not poor Marley; she got to stay with Grandma Becky. Maybe next time! I was really worried about how Tate would be during the long flight, but he actually did awesome. Happy Birthday Tate!

Monday was Taters 4th birthday; I can't believe I had this little hellian angel 4 whole years ago! In some ways it feels like he's just been around forever, but other times it's crazy to me that he's this old. It's definitely been a very entertaining 4 years to say the least.
When he woke up he got a brand new bike from mom and dad that we had to instantly go out and try...

That night we had a birthday party with our families at the Love's house. Of course it was a swim party, I'm sure we'll end up doing that every year until he's a teenager and way too cool for it:) But for now Tate loves it, he's a daredevil in the pool. It's hard to even keep the life jacket on him because he just wants to keep taking it off and jumping in head first...
After swimming it was time for presents, cake and icecream! Of course every year Tate picks the one cake that is impossible to find. Last year was Yo Gabba Gabba, this year he was SET on an Incredibles cake. They don't even sell action figures anymore, so I had to go online and find everything and have someone make up a cake. Why does he have to be so difficult??

Here's to another crazy, wild, exhausting, hilarious, frustrating, annoying, fun, difficult and interesting year!!

The other day Tate was out riding his bike and Jord decided to take off his training wheels. I was worried because he's not even 4 yet, I thought he was way too young, but he hopped right on and rode away like it was something he'd been doing for months! I couldn't believe he just did it without falling or anything, he was a natural. My baby is growing up, next thing you know we'll be teaching him how to drive!...

I got Marley's pictures taken like 4 months ago, I just haven't done anything with them yet. So finally I uploaded them, I only wish we could have gotten some with her cute smile...she was just so serious!

Welcome home Elder Love!

Chace came home yesterday from his mission to Texas. I can't believe it's already been two years!! It was so fun and exciting to go to the airport and see him come home. Although for some reason it gave me serious anxiety just standing there waiting and waiting for him to come through security, it felt like forever. Tate was so excited to see him, he kept saying "I can't believe Chace is home!" I don't think he really remembers him, but just seeing his pictures and hearing us talk about him made him all excited I guess. He kept going right up to him and staring at him in awe.Just waiting at the airport.....Tate's favorite part was making the "welcome home" sign

Lagoon!

It was my parents stake Lagoon day on Friday, so the whole fam-damily went! It was so much fun, Tate loved being with all his cousins, and Marley was actually really good too. She couldn't go on very many rides, but she loved just being outside and running around. Tate was brave and went on any ride he was tall enough for! His favorite buddy to ride with was Jake, they were so cute together.Brooke and Mar
