We leave on Sunday for Newport Beach and I am all sorts of stressed out. I tend to be like my dad who is a basket case when it comes to travel--I have a list of everything to pack, I have to print out the flight info, and I need to know all itinerary for the whole trip. I know, I need to seriously relax but I can't. So now having a child to pack and deal with is freaking me out. For those of you who are seasoned travelers with children....are there any tricks I should know? I've never taken Tate anywhere so I don't know how to fly with him or what to really take. How do I keep him quiet and entertained during the flight? (mind you, this is a child who can't sit during sacrament for 10 seconds without making some sort of scene).

Krystal's Wedding
Tate was an awful mess at the reception. He hadn't napped the entire day and hated being dressed up, so by the time pictures came he freaked out. He was THAT kid who refused to hold still and smile, arched his back, and cried the whole time. Krystal was so cute trying to get him to at least play with her dress so he'd hold still for 2 seconds.
This was what he wanted to do instead. So by the time my parents came and took him home with them he had broken my necklace, spilled punch all down his shirt, had frosting all over his tie, and made me consider getting my tubes tied.
It was such an amazing and fun day though, and I am so happy for Sis and Ty!

Little Hailey...
So I hope Meg doesn't mind me posting about this, but too bad I did it anyway. My 2 year old niece Hailey has been up at Primary Children's Hospital for a week now and they still don't know what's wrong. She's always been a tiny thing (we're talking 17 pounds tiny-Tate weighs almost 20 lbs and he's not even 1 yet) and a picky eater, but the past months she's become super anemic and gotten to where she'll go days without eating ANYTHING--and when she does finally eat, she gets so sick and throws it all back up. She's on a feeding tube that she'll probably be on for a while until she can get better and eat on her own. We miss having our little "hay" around and are praying the doctors can figure this out so she can get better and come home!
