Warning....overload of pictures. I like pictures.

Ok, it's time to post about Easter. Tate got up Sunday and had a little basket from the Easter bunny, filled with a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse dvd and a tub toy (he's only 8 months old, he doesn't need much). That afternoon we went to grandpa and grandma Wakefield's and had an Easter egg hunt--Tate had no clue what was going on. Me and Jord were more excited than him, we had out the digital camera, the video camera, and were all gung-ho! He really could have cared less.....maybe I was so excited because I got all his candy...he's not old enough to eat any of it. But all in all, it was a really fun day! Tate with his cousins

On to something completely different, we have a really big backyard, and it's a fun thought, but in reality it's crappy to take care of and keep up. But we've been trying to make it fun for people to come over and play. So we went and got a big kit that had like volleyball, badmitton, horseshoes, etc. in it. Since it was great weather yesterday my sister Meg and her girls came over to try out the new toys. We had so much fun! The kids played on the swingset, rode their little cars around, and me and Meg attempted to play badmitton. That's right, I said badmitton. Anybody played that before? It's not as easy as it looks. (that, or we are just retarded)

But all that matters is we had fun, we laughed more than anything. Jord came home from work and took some really bad pictures of us....I look hideous. But they are funny, so I will post our good time we had!

....and Zach makes 9

My sister Paige had her 3rd boy this past Monday, which brings the grandchild total up to nine! And us girls are officially outnumbered....there's 6 boys and 3 girls.

Zachary Preston Hinckley weighed 7.3 pounds and was 18 1/2 inched long. He has the cutest chubbiest cheeks and fat sausage fingers!

Tate got tagged!

We got tagged by Lynae to tell 8 random facts about Tate so.......

1. Tate has a bunch of nicknames. The most common that his grandparents and cousins call him are Tato bug, Tater tot, and Taters.

2. He loves bananas. He will eat anything as long as it has bananas in it.

3. He loves to growl, he does it all day long and will keep going if you growl at him.

4. Tate has to have his blue blankie to sleep, and it has to be up by his face.

5. I can't ever keep socks on him because he immediately pulls them off to suck on his toes.

6. He is a pincher and a puller. He will pinch anything he can get his little hands on-and it hurts really bad. And he constantly pulls my hair, or anybody's hair within reach.

7. Tate loves to read (grandma Becky will be so proud). Anytime I show him a book he gets really excited and waves his arms.

8. He is my little love-bug. He loves to be hugged and kissed, and loves to reciprocate slobbery kisses back.

Now Tate gets to tag Cannon Cook, Londyn Perkins and Jaxson and Wyatt Bell.

All About Me...

If I tagged you here's what you do. Post the words in all caps below and fill in info about yourself. Then, at the end you go and tag 5 friends. It's just a way to get to know fun little things about people. (I thought I'd add some pix to make it more exciting)

TEN YEARS AGO.......I had just turned 16 and was sick with mono for a few weeks!! Which I got from my sister--not a boy. And I was a little echelon...HA!

FIVE PLACES THAT I HAVE VISITED.........Hawaii, California, Florida, New Mexico, and a few different places in Mexico. parasailing in Mazatlan

FIVE THINGS ON MY TO DO LIST........do laundry, vaccuum, get my hair cut, make Jord a lunch, finish this blog.

THREE BAD HABITS........nagging Jordan all the time (I don't call it nagging....I call it reminding), pick my face, and Jord gets mad because I'll open a bottled water and drink 2 sips, then leave it. One hour later I'll forget I opened one and go open another one, drink 2 sips....and so on. I have one in almost every room of the house.
I ENJOY........icecream, sleeping, warm weather--I hate the cold, celebrity gossip, and hanging out with my sisters

FIVE THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT ME.........I have Crohn's disease, I absolutely love animals-I'm obsessed (I may like animals more than I like people.), I have never thought I am as pretty as my sisters, my dream job would be being a CSI, and I got a breast reduction when I was 20. (I know....TMI. But I don't care! It was the best thing I've ever done)

FIVE JOBS THAT I HAVE HAD............Schmidt's Bakery girl, phone operator at PEHP, medical assistant at a chiropractor, file clerk at an ob/gyn, and assistant manager at Utah Cancer Specialists. moving to our new office at the IMC
That was long, sorry! But now it's my turn to tag Al, Kristi, Jeni, Jen, and Amie.

UCS Girls Night!

Kelly, Stef, me and Amanda

So last night me and my friends from good old UCS got together(well, 2 girls are missing...you know who you are!), we try to do something every few weeks to keep in touch. It's nice to go out without the kids and talk about things other than kids! I'm really glad I was able to make such good friends at that job--there was a time when I really considered quitting, but I'm glad I didn't because we went through alot of stuff together (good and bad) and they are some of my closest friends now.

So the reason that's only 2 seconds long is because it was supposed to be a picture, but Stef took a short video instead.(oops) But I had to show it because my friend Amanda has this adorable boxer named Abby and she still thinks she's a tiny puppy. So she'll crawl up onto your lap not realizing she's about 65 pounds now!

Glamour Shots (a.k.a JC Penney)

When I last took Tate for his 2 month pictures it was a total DISASTER. He screamed the entire time, and when he was calm the stupid girl was insistant on getting a good "smile" picture. She obviously has no kids. He was 6 weeks old-like he smiles on cue, please. All I wanted was a picture with him not red in the face crying, I could have cared less about a smile. So I was dreading taking him back for his 6 month ones (ok, he's almost 8 months old now, but close enough). I am happy to report it went much better, he even smiled-just a few scratches on his face...oh well.
