Pre-school!!

Tate started pre-school today! I know that most kids don't start until they're 3 or so, but he's so bored and needs something to do a few days a week. And I found a great place that has a class just for 2 and 3 year olds. So him and his cousin Hailey are in it together two days a week. There's only one little problem....he cried and cried when I left him. And basically continued to cry for alot of the class time. Oh, and at one point tried to CLIMB out of the window and escape. Hmmm...
But the teacher was really good at distracting him and explained to me that alot of kids do that their first couple of times (the crying, not the climbing out of the window:) we just need to keep going and give it time. I think he really will love it eventually; here's to hoping it gets better...

8 1/2 months...

This is not the greatest picture, you can't even see it very well. But I'm a little over 33 weeks now and I only have 6 weeks to go! Yea! My doctor said he can induce me a week early which puts my due date on....my birthday. Oh well, I don't really care actually. It's not like you even really celebrate your birthday's past 21 anyway. So we'll see what happens...

New Years 2010

New Years was a little bit of a bummer this year because we were all sick (what's new? Someone's always got to be sick for a holiday it seems) . So we were supposed to spend our traditional weekend at the cabin but ended up only going down and back on New Years day. But it still was fun to chill with the Love's and do some sledding and playing in the deep snow. I was actually a little sad too because I couldn't sled this year, that's my favorite thing to do there...

Joshua Hinckley

It seems every couple of months I am blogging about one of my sisters having another baby! We are all apparently in baby-mode, which is really fun though because all our kids are close in age and will have lots of cousins to play with. On December 30th Paige had her 4th boy (heaven help her with all those boys:) and he was a tiny little thing--5 lbs 14 oz and barely 18 inches long. His entire head is like the size of the palm of my hand, he is so adorable!

Christmas '09

I need to start posting about Christmas and such before I get too far behind. This year we spent Christmas Eve with the Wakefield's where we had great dinner, great company, and the traditional Nativity re-enactment by all the kids. My grandpa and grandma Snow also spent the night there, which was really fun to have them around. My little shepherd with his sheep

Addie was more like a dog than a donkey, Tate wanted to be the shepherd and the star so he held the flashlight and basically rolled around on the ground, and Jesus was a girl this year. Just keeping the Nativity lively at our place:)

Then this year for Christmas morning was the first time we stayed at our house, and it was so nice! We usually spend the night at our parents, but we want Tate to start having Santa come to our house and do our own little traditions. I loved it too, it was so low-key and calm and I don't think Tate got as overwhelmed as he does with all those other people around. Then after a few hours we went over to the Love's to open presents and talk to uncle Chace when he called...Out of all the fun big things Santa brought Tate liked the little bouncy ball the best...I should have known
Opening presents and making a mess. Tate loved the actual unwrapping of things more than what was really inside that wrapping...

Opening Tate's new tool bench from grandma Love

shooting guns with papa Love

This picture is my favorite. Grandma Wakefield got him this vaccuum and he went all over their house with it, including making great grandpa and grandma Snow lift their legs while he got underneath....
After we spent the last few hours of the day at the Wakefield's we were totally exhausted. We went home and crashed, but it was a great Christmas like always!

Boys only weekends.

Tate has always been a daddy's boy; he will copy Jord and follow him everywhere, and I love it. It's so cute to see him idolize his dad and want to do everything like him. Every morning they take their vitamins together and brush their teeth, and every night they have to "shoot hoops" together and wrestle. They are best buddies. Tate lives for the weekends because they are inseparable (and I get a little break:) and this weekend was no different:

eating their corn dogs

making their first snowman

laying on the couch watching football...
