Temple Square
Tate has loved driving around looking at Christmas lights this year, so we thought he would really love seeing Temple Square now. So.....these things are always much more fun in my head than in reality. We parked at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and inside had to pass this little cafe to get out to the lights. Well, all Tate cared about from that second on was getting freaking hot chocolate. He was so obsessed that he didn't even care about the lights anymore. Grrrr...so irritating. Oh well, at least we tried.

Hey you cant blame him for wanting some hot chocolate, right? Yummmm....so I dont usually do this but I will tell you about our super secret parking spot. So you have to park there after 6:00PM, but if you are headed north on State Street, right after you go under the eagle gate there are about 2-3 parking spots right on the right side in a pull out that says really big 10 minute parking. But in small letters it says 6am-6pm. It's awesome and it's right across the street from the lights! Ha, maybe next time. Looks like you had a good time none the less
